About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our team as a First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Specialist. This role is pivotal in providing quality inbound communication services while accurately recording FNOL claims, which are crucial for reporting damage to our clients' property. The ideal candidate will be comfortable receiving inbound calls and positively interacting with our customers, ensuring that each interaction reflects our commitment to excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept inbound calls from various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and field operators, to report First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claims.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring clear understanding and resolution of their queries, while accurately entering data into our customized database.
  • Report underground damage to locate companies when applicable, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding service to customer representatives, addressing their concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Analyze photos and map the correct location of damages, utilizing strong analytical and interpretive skills.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of essential skills and qualifications, including:

  • Ability to type at a minimum of 55 words per minute, error-free, demonstrating strong keyboard skills and attention to detail.
  • Full competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDFs, and internet searches, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Advanced phone and verbal communication skills, with excellent active listening and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent reading skills, with the ability to read and follow scripts, and analyze and interpret photos to determine damage, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to establish an appropriate work environment within your home for work purposes, with blithequark providing the necessary computer equipment, highlighting your ability to work independently and manage your workspace effectively.

Experience and Education

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6 months to 1 year of previous customer service call center experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams is considered an asset, indicating familiarity with collaborative software and tools.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, providing a foundation in basic skills and knowledge.
