Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines that support retail data science capabilities
 - Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions
 - Develop and implement data quality checks, data validation, and data transformation processes
 - Work with various data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based storage systems
 - Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes
 - Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security
 - Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and optimize performance
 - Develop and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and data models
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
 
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
 - At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data pipelines and data warehousing
 - Strong programming skills in languages such as Scala, Python, or Java
 - Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
 - Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
 - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions
 - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
