Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email and live chat, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate and complete information to customers using our comprehensive Knowledge Base, and escalate issues as needed to ensure that customer concerns are resolved efficiently.
- Resolve customer complaints in a fair and courteous manner, and follow up with customers to ensure that their issues have been fully resolved and that they are satisfied with the outcome.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, and use this information to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
- Achieve and maintain established performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or university education preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a live chat or email support environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with chat software similar to Facebook Messenger, and proficiency in basic computer skills such as MS Office, Google Suite, etc.
- Access to a laptop, phone, or tablet and a reliable internet connection.
- Basic English writing skills, with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with live chat software, and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a strong understanding of virtual communication tools and collaboration software.
- Certification in customer service or a related field, such as ICSS or HDI.
