About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sabre's dynamic team as a Senior Service Delivery Specialist, working in a hybrid environment that combines remote work with time in our office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving customer conversion projects from planning to delivery, ensuring successful project outcomes, and providing top-notch support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers, account teams, and internal project team members to define project deliverables and ensure a deep understanding of each task.
- Validate customer requirements to ensure successful project outcomes and drive customer satisfaction.
- Install and configure Sabre standard products, designing customized training programs and conducting onsite and/or virtual training for customer agents.
- Provide virtual onsite assistance with floor walking in a day-to-day working environment, ensuring seamless customer support.
- Work closely with teams across the Americas, customer support teams, and operational verticals to drive project success and foster a collaborative environment.
- Deliver assigned tasks on time, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project milestones.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on GDS experience, with functional Sabre knowledge being a significant plus.
- Proven experience in the travel industry, including agency end-to-end workflow and common operations knowledge.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills, with the ability to create and deliver formal training programs and presentations.
- A team player with experience working with different cultures in a global environment, demonstrating adaptability and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- 5-10 years of hands-on GDS experience in different roles, providing a deep understanding of the industry and its complexities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or Computer Science, demonstrating a strong foundation in relevant disciplines.
- Multilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish or French, enabling effective communication with a diverse customer base.
- Project management experience, either as a leader or contributor, showcasing your ability to drive projects forward and achieve results.
