Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products, including auto, home, and life insurance.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and market appropriate products and services.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to meet those needs.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) - preferred.
  • A successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas - preferred.
  • An interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • An enthusiasm for the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
  • A people-oriented and organizational approach to your work.
  • Self-motivation and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to make presentations to potential customers.
  • A Property and Casualty license (currently held).
  • A Life and Health license (currently held).
