Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to work from home in Nevada, within 75 miles of our Specialty location at 7251 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119. As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for patients receiving specialty drug therapy, providing telephone support and ensuring the smooth processing of new patient medication orders and reorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and revivifying benefits as necessary.
  • Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
  • Interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure the timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations.
  • Demonstrate compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, with strong skills and aptitude.
  • A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Healthcare work experience, with familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.

Training and Schedule

Our training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. The training duration is 4 weeks, with a schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST. Please note that there will be a PTO blackout during this period. After training, your schedule will be 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST.
