Key Responsibilities
- Provide consumer support in a call center environment for patients receiving treatment within a designated specialty
- Risk assess patients for compliance and adherence to treatment regimens
- Identify barriers to care and develop strategies to overcome them
- Provide information about disease processes and treatment options
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families
- Accept inbound calls and make outbound calls to enrolled patients
- Receive notifications through various channels, including web portals, live chat, patient assistance programs, and electronic enrollment forms
- Enter all consumer activities accurately in our clinical database
- Intake and report adverse events as directed
- Work a flexible schedule and adapt to changing program needs
- Perform related duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a current license issued by a state or states or jurisdiction(s) within the United States and be unrestricted in any state. You should also have graduated from an accredited nursing program and have experience providing high-quality customer service. A minimum of 2 years of experience within a designated specialty, such as oncology, neurology, medical information/pharmacovigilance, or behavioral health, is required. Telephonic experience is a plus, and certification may be required.
