About the Role
As a Teller at Wells Fargo, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the financial needs of our customers. You will be responsible for processing transactions, sharing digital solutions, and making introductions to bankers to help our customers achieve their financial goals. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
 - Share digital solutions with customers to help them manage their finances and achieve their goals
 - Make introductions to bankers to provide customers with access to a range of financial products and services
 - Complete operational activities while minimizing risks and adhering to established policies and procedures
 - Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures
 - Escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles as needed
 - Interact with customers and individuals to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete requested transactions
 - Identify information and services to meet customers' financial needs and provide personalized solutions
 
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong customer service focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be able to exercise judgment, raise questions to management, and adhere to policy guidelines. The following qualifications and skills are required or preferred:
Essential Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
 - Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
 
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience interacting with people, demonstrated through work, military, or education
 - Military experience (transitioning military service member, reserve military service member, or a veteran) and currently enrolled in a college or university program
 - Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
 - Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
 - Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
 - Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
 - Cash handling experience
 - Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
 - Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
