About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Teller to provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, and contribute to the success of our banking team. As a Teller at Union Station, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, identifying and meeting customer needs, and promoting our products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Build strong relationships with customers, identifying and meeting their financial needs, and promoting our products and services
  • Participate in the delivery of exceptional customer experiences, including proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products and services
  • Assist customers with basic requests, such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our bank products and services, connecting customers to the right solutions to help them succeed financially
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care, build relationships, and provide appropriate options for bank products and services
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive customer experience

Essential Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Strong customer service focus, with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology, sharing the value of mobile banking options
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs, fostering and developing strong customer relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners, following policies, procedures, and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate
  • Relevant military experience, including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal partners
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and meet customer needs
