About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Territory Manager, Nutrien Financial, to join our team in a remote capacity. Reporting to the Area Manager, Cornbelt, West & Canada, Nutrien Financial, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of Nutrien Financial products within an assigned Nutrien Ag Solutions territory. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business development, providing operational and marketing support, and fostering strong relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide finance program structuring assistance to growers and Retail locations, ensuring alignment with Nutrien Financial's lending policies and procedures.
 - Build awareness of lending processes and lending products within the assigned region, identifying opportunities for growth and new program development.
 - Oversee location development, management training, operations, and communications, including location education and call management of potential loan applicants.
 - Coordinate finance program communications to the field, including policy, procedures, and new finance program details, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
 - Support the development of marketing materials for new finance programs, leveraging your knowledge of financial and Ag input products to drive sales and customer engagement.
 - Lead grower-facing financial services and planning conversations in partnership with retail crop consultants, providing expert guidance and support to our customers.
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Business, demonstrating a strong foundation in agricultural principles and business acumen.
 - Minimum six (6) years of financial services, credit, or field sales experience in the Ag industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and customer relationships.
 - Experience working with retail management, leadership, and/or customers, with a deep understanding of the Nutrien Ag Solutions retail channel, agronomic products, and financial services.
 - Knowledge of balance sheet and income statement analysis, ratios, and terminology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and strategic manner.
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to position financial services features and benefits, and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
 - Proven expertise in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and inform business decisions.
