The Role: Customer Service Specialist
As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will be the cornerstone of our customer interaction, ensuring that every touchpoint is positive, productive, and personalized. This role is crucial for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, driving sales through proactive engagement, and efficiently managing customer accounts and related administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls with a focus on providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and identifying sales opportunities.
- Utilize a proactive sales approach in every customer interaction to uncover additional sales and service opportunities, contributing to customer retention and acquisition efforts.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of blithequark's products, services, billing processes, and policies to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Present a professional and enthusiastic image, developing trusting relationships with customers through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Manage customer accounts by accurately setting up and maintaining account information, ensuring data integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Perform a range of administrative functions including Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Accounts Payable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Undertake data entry, reporting, and reconciliation tasks related to asset and inventory controls and purchasing, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn and utilize our CRM and other internal systems.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and the ability to run and analyze reports to inform customer service and sales strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work efficiently in a team environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Bilingual skills are preferred but not required; proficiency in additional languages is considered a valuable asset.
