Outbound Operations concentrates on the FC/carrier/carrier hub relationship, ensuring that trucks leave FCs on time to deliver customer orders as promised. Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with external customers (carriers, vendors/suppliers) and internal customers (retail, finance, software support, fulfillment centers)
- Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data management systems) and perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
- Develop and understand performance metrics to drive business results
- Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams to create and enhance software systems and tools used by TOC
- Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions
- Systematically escalate problems or variances in information and data to relevant owners and teams, following through on resolutions
- Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying activities performed
- Provide excellent communication, both verbal and written, and create narratives outlining weekly findings and variances to goals, presenting these findings in review forums
- Provide real-time customer experience by working in a 24*7 operating environment
Requirements and Qualifications
