Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Call Center Agent to work in a remote capacity with our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client. As a Remote Medical Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for performing outbound calls to carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform outbound calls to carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of patients
- Utilize computer skills for data entry and gather/review patient billing and medical information
- Operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Multi-task and efficiently use dual monitors to manage multiple systems and applications
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve patient issues and concerns
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of recent Call Center experience (no exceptions)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Ability to pick up in Irving, TX (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
- Great work attitude and willingness to help others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent Medical Call Center experience (a plus but not required)
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare industry
- Experience working with computer systems and software applications
