Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Service Data Representative to work remotely in Durham, NC. As a Customer Service Data Representative, you will play a critical role in collecting research data via phone, engaging with participants, and maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Using internet databases and research systems to locate and identify points of contact for program participants
  • Data entry of case information into a case management system
  • Engage and respond to participants by following a scripted questionnaire to collect research data via phone
  • Communicate the goals of the survey to participants and explain why their participation is valuable; encourage participation from those who have previously chosen not to participate
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions related to survey data collection
  • Maintain quality standards for data collection

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Quiet, disruption-free workspace to preserve sound quality, protecting confidential information
  • High-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download speed and 3 Mbps upload speed
  • Access to personal email and phone (either landline or cell)
  • Ability to engage and persuade stakeholders successfully
  • Excellent computer skills and experience maneuvering between multiple programs/systems
  • Ability to interact comfortably and professionally with a variety of people
  • Comfortable being on camera for meetings, training, and/or one-on-one meetings
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and ability to work independently as required

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in data collection or a related field
  • Familiarity with case management systems and data entry software
  • Experience working in a remote environment
