Internship Program Overview

Our 10-week paid internship program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the publishing process and our business. As a remote intern, you will work 28 hours per week and be paid $21/hour. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Work with typography and font technology
  • Learn how IT can support designers and the publishing process
  • Gain hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Participate in panels, networking events, and employee speaker series

Key Responsibilities

Main Projects and Tasks

As a 2025 Summer Remote Intern in IT, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Assist in resolving technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Typography and Font Technology: Work with typography and font technology to support designers and the publishing process.
  • IT Support for Designers: Learn how IT can support designers and the publishing process, and assist in implementing technical solutions.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Gain hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other software applications used in the publishing industry.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and implement solutions.

Requirements and Eligibility

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:

  • Be ready to work full-time on or before June 2026
  • Be able to work 28 hours/week throughout the program
  • Be available and commit to the program working June 9, 2025 – August 18, 2025
  • Reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship program
  • Be over the age of 18
  • Have knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in IT support or a related field
  • Knowledge of typography and font technology
  • Familiarity with publishing industry software and applications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
