We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team, servicing an assigned book of airline accounts and selling aftermarket commercial aircraft parts. As a key member of our sales team, you will source material and MRO/workshop quotations for aircraft part sales to our commercial airline customer base.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will be an aggressive, highly motivated salesperson, looking to get their foot in the door in a rapidly growing company. Daily activity centers around phone calls, data input, and analysis of how to win business in a competitive marketplace. Key Responsibilities
- Proactive Sales Approach: Develop and maintain relationships with airline customers, understanding their business requirements and satisfying their expectations.
- Market Analysis and Research: Understand the competitive marketplace, learning about market trends, products, services, and competitors.
- Supplier and MRO Quotations: Efficiently call suppliers and MROs to quote customers, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Sales Activity Tracking: Track all sales activity in the Quantum Control electronic business application, providing detailed records of sales efforts.
- Account Management: Assist sales management in servicing major accounts, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and written reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve sales performance.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's or AA degree preferred.
- Experience: 3 years in an office or business professional environment; 2 years in a sales role or at least 1 year in sales in the aviation supply industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and spreadsheets, with experience in using electronic business applications.
- Sales and Business Acumen: Strong business sense and high executive acumen, with a proven track record of sales success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aviation Industry Experience: Experience working in the aviation supply industry, with knowledge of commercial aircraft parts and MRO services.
- Sales and Marketing Experience: Experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success in a competitive sales environment.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
