Job Overview

In this dynamic role, you will provide support to customers, internal and external partners, and advisors, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. You will develop and maintain the knowledge necessary to provide expected support, understand and maintain measurements, and live our values. Primary Accountabilities

  • Respond to customer interactions regarding billing, policy coverage, and policy changes through multiple customer contact channels, including phone, email, e-form, chat, and social media platforms.
  • Accept ownership of requests and provide service to ensure complete customer satisfaction, taking a customer-driven approach to resolve issues and address concerns.
  • Empowered to take risks and make exception decisions, reviewing situations to ensure decisions are appropriate for both the customer and the organization.
  • Assist with peer development through information and knowledge sharing, embracing a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Learn, apply, and identify opportunities for improvement, making recommendations for change and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
  • Attend scheduled training classes and participate in development opportunities to further expand customer service skills and knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience providing customer-driven solutions or support, with a strong understanding of mathematics and basic knowledge of customer service principles. You should have experience working in a customer service environment, such as face-to-face service, contact center, retail, insurance, or hospitality.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions or support.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematics (arithmetic, averaging, percentages, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment.
  • Ability to guide customers to resolution, providing clear and concise communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a licensed environment, with knowledge of property and casualty producer licenses.
  • Completion of the AD Banker On-Line Pre-Licensing Course for employee's resident state, with a score of at least 90% on the comprehensive exam or certificate(s) of completion.
  • Resident state licensing exam(s) for property and casualty producer licenses within 30 days of hire, with the ability to obtain licenses for all operating and/or service states within 60 days of hire.
