Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers via phone and other communication channels. You will work from home and be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their student loan repayment options
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional service
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of customer service experience; 2 years of call center experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Windows products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Minimum 40-45 WPM typing speed; testing will be conducted during the in-person interview
  • Wired internet connection, not wireless/Wi-Fi; minimum internet connection speed of at least 10mbps
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust 5C Background Investigation after hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Call center experience
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality

What We Offer:

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $16.20 per hour
