Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team remotely. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining large information pipelines to support superior analytics and information technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists to design, develop, and deploy new solutions that drive business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software programs that process, store, and serve data to be used by others.
 - Design and develop information systems and pipelines to organize, acquire, and standardize data that facilitates generating insights and addresses reporting needs.
 - Write ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) procedures, design database structures, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
 - Develop data pipelines that are scalable, repeatable, and secure.
 - Troubleshoot software programs and procedures for data consistency and integrity.
 - Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring that they adhere to data best practices and accessibility standards.
 - Effectively resolve issues and roadblocks as they occur.
 - Interact with internal and external stakeholders and/or managers to communicate semi-complex information associated with assigned activities.
 
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in data engineering; OR Graduate Degree in a technical discipline.
 - Advanced understanding of SQL.
 - Experience setting up and maintaining key relationships with internal (colleagues, business partners, and leadership) and external (business community, customers, and vendors) stakeholders within a matrix organization to ensure best-in-class service.
 - Experience reading and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive the development of outcomes and discover solutions.
 - Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with REST API development.
 - Experience with Azure software deployment.
 - Experience in Azure technology, such as:
        
- Azure Data Factory
 - Azure Databricks using Python or Scala
 - App Services
 - Azure Data Lake
 - Azure Functions
 - Event Hubs
 - Event Grids
 - Logic App
 
 - Experience in building Azure DevOPS pipelines to enable CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation.
