**Job Description**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines and architectures. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines and architectures using a range of tools and technologies, including Local AWS services and Amazon internal tools and technologies.
* Collaborate with business partners to understand their requirements and develop data solutions that address their needs and meet their expectations.
* Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure data pipelines that meet our customers' needs and comply with our corporate standards.
* Perform code audits and ensure that best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams.
* Develop and maintain data structures and tools for internal and external partner use to manage data.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data pipelines and architectures.

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you can expect to:

* Participate in code reviews and ensure that best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams.
**About the Team**
The Ring Data Warehouse team at blithequark is responsible for managing the integrated data repository for Ring. We collect and distribute data from various internal and external sources, which are used by different partners, such as Ring Item design, Finance, Inventory network, Advertising, Customer service, and Sales data. We are committed to delivering high-quality data solutions that meet our customers' needs and drive business growth.
**Essential Capabilities**
* 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and developing complex data pipelines and architectures.
* Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
* Experience with SQL and other data query languages.
* Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
**Preferred Capabilities**
* Experience with AWS technologies, including Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
* Experience with modern programming languages, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS.
* Experience with non-relational databases and data stores, including object storage, record or key-value stores, graph databases, and column-family databases.
