Our pharmacists play a vital role in the U.S. healthcare system by providing a wide range of pharmacy and healthcare services, including those that promote equitable access to care for the nation's medically underserved populations. **Job Responsibilities** As a Data Scientist – RWE, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, actionable insights from real-world data to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests. Your key responsibilities will include: * Developing and implementing advanced analytics and statistical models to analyze large datasets and identify trends and patterns * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute studies, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation * Developing and maintaining data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders * Ensuring high-quality, rigorous, and easily interpretable deliverables from RWE research and analyses * Building dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external consumption * Conducting due diligence on new real-world data companies and performing RWD quality checks to inform investment decisions **Key Skills and Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computational field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering * At least 4 years of experience in a quantitative or computational function, with a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling * Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL * Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI intelligence tools * Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, classification and regression trees, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis * Experience processing large datasets from diverse data sources * Experience working with covered patient health data * Familiarity with at least one of the following: EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims databases **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * A Ph.D. or Master's degree in a field such as statistics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field * Expertise in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims databases * Familiarity with medical data standards, clinical terminologies, and managed vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode) * Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence research or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR) * Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods of data collection, particularly those enabled by technology systems and/or solutions * Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics * Understanding of data and systems learning techniques, ability to maintain self-learning of technical and non-technical skills **Benefits** As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Company-paid life insurance * Medical, prescription drugs, dental, and vision coverage * Retirement savings plan (401(k)) * Employee stock purchase plan * Paid time off (PTO) * Holidays * Paid parental leave (PPL) * Transportation benefit plan * Employee store discount * Voluntary life and personal accident insurance **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented data scientist with a passion for leveraging advanced analytics and technologies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
