Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Office Technician – Data Entry Specialist to join our Medicaid and Long Term Care (MLTC) team at blithequark. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of medical claims, client eligibility, and provider payments. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide office support work, including data entry, filing, sorting, and opening mail
  • Enter information contained on a variety of medical and NFOCUS claim forms, identifying and correcting errors as needed
  • Maintain a minimum data entry rate of 8000 kph with 95% accuracy
  • Review medical claim forms for missing or incomplete data and take corrective action
  • Answer and resolve inbound calls regarding the status of submitted claims, client eligibility, and verifying provider payments
  • Utilize multiple mainframe computers and software applications, including Enterprise One, NFOCUS, MMIS, OnBase, and Microsoft Excel

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Coursework or training in public contact, customer service, and/or performing and applying office/clerical support procedures
  • Experience using a personal computer, associated software, and office equipment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Proofreading skills and accurate data entry abilities
  • Able to file and retrieve materials using alphabetical and numerical filing systems
  • Able to perform repetitive work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Experience with Enterprise One, NFOCUS, MMIS, OnBase, and Microsoft Excel
  • Internal and external customer service experience
  • Knowledge of data entry techniques and procedures
