About the Role

As a Remote Parts & Inventory Customer Support Agent at blithequark, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for assisting customers before and after the sale, addressing their queries, and providing timely and accurate solutions to their problems. Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers using telephone, email, chat, and scripted dialogue to provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Log calls and update customer account records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Use your interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge to respond to daily customer-centric activities and provide timely and accurate solutions
  • Serve as the primary contact for dealership service departments and the client's customer breakdown department, managing cases and tracking interactions required for specific repairs
  • Reduce downtime to enhance customers' experience and overall satisfaction, escalating inquiries to product support, billing, sales, orders, or return/repair claims as needed
  • Conduct outbound calls to respond to submitted questions and provide proactive support to customers
  • Offer timely and accurate solutions through inbound and outbound conversations, including phone calls, chats, emails, and other communications, while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree and two or more years of customer service experience and/or technical product knowledge
  • Or, a Master's degree in lieu of experience
  • Or, four or more years of customer service experience and/or technical product knowledge along with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work shifts within the center's hours of operation, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Eastern time, with a reliable schedule and ability to stick to it
  • High-speed internet access at home that you can connect to via Ethernet or landline, and a secluded and distraction-free work environment
  • Must be a Michigan resident

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Technical knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly in parts and inventory management
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a remote or call center environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple cases simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
