Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across AIML, including Foundation Models, Infra, NLP, Invocation, and Speech Recognition to develop innovative solutions that align with business goals.
• Lead the design and architecture of core Siri systems, engineering tools, and user interactions with an emphasis on scalability and international adaptability.
• Create and execute ambitious engineering plans to enhance Siri's reach and effectiveness in global markets.
• Work on advanced engineering challenges, including Speech Synthesis/Recognition, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, and Big Data.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.S in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally working on an end-user product.
• Working capability with programming languages, such as Swift, C++, Objective C, Java, etc.
• Solid fundamentals in OO design, patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with machine learning and data science.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven strong product mindset, with a focus on building the best experience for the end-user.
• Proven track record of architecting performant scalable software, ideally both on-device and server-side.
• Demonstrated ownership of large cross-functional and multi-team projects.
• Proven technical leadership, education, and team mentorship.
