About the Role: Amazon Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate

As an Amazon Warehouse Associate, you'll be part of a dynamic team that gets orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services. Our fast-paced, physical roles take place in a variety of areas, including merch, make-on-demand, customer returns, Prime Now, and general fulfillment. You'll be responsible for selecting, packing, and shipping orders – in some cases, for our super-fast (2-hour or less) delivery service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and put away inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and storage
• Get customer orders ready and pack them up with care, meeting quality and production standards
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products, verifying accuracy and troubleshooting issues
• View prompts on screens and follow directions for tasks, adapting to changing priorities and workflows
• Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet drivers, and work at heights up to 35 feet, with equipment training and certification provided free of cost
• Lift up to 49 pounds, push utility carts up to 60 pounds, and stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts, demonstrating physical stamina and flexibility
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, optimizing workflow and efficiency
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards, contributing to a safe and productive work environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and workflows
• Physical stamina to lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new technology and systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
• Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals

Preferred Qualifications:
