Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Virtual Assistant to support our Digital Account Manager in delivering exceptional digital marketing campaigns for our clients. As an Assistant Digital Account Manager, you'll play a key role in managing digital marketing programs from start to finish, working closely with our creative, production, and project management teams, as well as our marketing partners and external agency teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Digital Account Manager in day-to-day client demands, serving as a key point of contact for our marketing partners
  • Develop and execute strategic digital plans to achieve our marketing partners' goals, collaborating with project management and creative teams to produce compelling digital content
  • Foster deep client relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building trust and managing day-to-day client demands with internal teams
  • Proactively support colleagues and collaborate with them to achieve targets, creating a positive team environment through cooperation and collaboration
  • Develop strategic and creative briefs in partnership with marketing partners and strategy teams, influencing the production and execution of digital content
  • Utilize project management tools, such as Workfront, to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:

  • 3+ years of account management experience in a leading digital creative agency or in-house brand
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google web applications, and Tumbler Genius DC, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
  • Experience working with project management tools, such as Workfront
  • Strong public speaking skills and experience presenting to clients and internal stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing principles, including advertising, marketing, and media

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Experience working in a virtual or remote environment, with a proven track record of delivering results in a distributed team
  • Knowledge of American Express' products and services, or experience working with similar financial services organizations
  • Certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Analytics or Facebook Blueprint
