As a key player in the industry, JLL is now looking to hire an experienced Analyst for its Industrial Investment Advisory Team in San Francisco, focused on sales, joint ventures, and recapitalizations of industrial transactions throughout the Bay Area.
About the Role
As an Analyst on the Industrial Investment Advisory Team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in every stage of a transaction, from underwriting and market research to property tours, preparation of offering materials, and client meetings & events. This is a high-energy, team-focused environment where you will receive consistent mentorship from senior members across the platform. You will be expected to work full-time in the office, 5 days a week, and be motivated to move quickly with the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare investment sales advisory packages and submissions for commercial real estate transactions, including research, financial modeling, and composition of executive summaries.
 - Develop complex financial models for commercial real estate transactions, utilizing market and JLL data/comps to correctly underwrite a transaction.
 - Manage the due diligence process and drive the marketing and closing processes for each transaction, maintaining constant communication with the Producer, the market, and the Client.
 - Demonstrate technical proficiency in using databases to identify useful data, determine trends, and prepare for pitches and meetings.
 - Review real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to identify potential issues and determine the best path forward.
 - Begin building a client network within the industry through meetings, events, and involvement in real estate trade organizations.
 - Participate in weekly office meetings with Producers to discuss deal flow, deal status, market conditions, and review new client leads.
 
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
 - 1-3 years of experience in a financial analysis environment, preferably in investment or commercial banking, private equity, or commercial real estate.
 - Self-motivation, a team-oriented mindset, and strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines.
 - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to interface with top-level executives.
 - Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate analytical and marketing data effectively.
 - Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
 - The ability to work independently with a team player attitude.
 - Proficient working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Argus Enterprise experience.

Compensation
The estimated total compensation for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 USD per year. The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed, based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
