Key Responsibilities

As a software engineer on the core networking team, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and testing networking software and/or hardware products
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Developing and maintaining network APIs, protocols, and network interfaces
• Troubleshooting and debugging network issues, using tools such as packet sniffers and protocol analyzers
• Staying up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends, including TCP/IP, IPv6, and wireless network technologies
• Working closely with the team to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of performance, efficiency, ease of use, and security

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience developing networking software and/or hardware products
• Strong software design and development skills, including experience in C, C++, or Objective-C programming
• In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, including IPv6
• BSD/Linux kernel network stack experience
• Network troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues

• Basic understanding of IP routing concepts and principles

Preferred Qualifications
