Job Overview

The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) role is a critical part of our sales and merchandising team, responsible for selling, ordering, and presenting products to our customers. As a BAM, you will be the face of our company, building relationships with our customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and ensuring that our products are displayed and merchandised to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute sales and merchandising activities for an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes, generating sales orders and ensuring the day-to-day success of the operation.
  • Execute applicable promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial plans to ensure excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned customers.
  • Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs, ensuring that all products are displayed in a safe and attractive manner.
  • Organize and maintain the back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out of date product to the branch.
  • Create and distribute point-of-sale materials on display and shelve where permitted, rotating product and filling and merchandising Fastlane merchandisers and vendors.
  • Foster business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions.
  • Identify and communicate any competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business, executing all job duties in a safe working manner.

Essential Qualifications

  • Valid in-state driver’s license and excellent driving history.
  • Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage.
  • High School Education / GED.
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
  • Critical thinking skills and high initiative and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secondary education beyond high school preferred.
  • Career-mindedness and a highly competitive nature.
  • Experience in sales and merchandising, preferably in a similar industry.
