Job Summary

As a Care Coordination Representative, you will be responsible for completing tasks related to assigned Health Information Management services, including e-Filing, order and referral management, insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and completing patient medical forms. You will report directly to the Care Coordination Supervisor and work in a remote setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home office.

Key Responsibilities


  • Evaluate and File Medical Documents: Evaluate medical documents and file them electronically into patient charts according to client protocols, ensuring accurate and timely filing.

  • Navigate Electronic Health Records (EHRs): Navigate client EHR software and internal systems with ease, utilizing strong data entry and typing skills to move quickly on a keyboard.

  • Handle High Volumes of Work: Handle high volumes of work with high quality and accuracy, meeting productivity and quality standards.

  • Cross-Train in Multiple EHRs: Cross-train in multiple EHRs to provide additional team coverage when needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

  • Follow Filing Processes: Follow pre-defined filing processes, referring to company internal documentation or asking your supervisor for assistance when needed.

  • Track Completed Work: Track completed work to log time and transaction counts on an hourly basis or as directed by management.

  • Understand Client Protocols: Understand and utilize assigned clients' protocols and Service Level Agreements, ensuring compliance with client requirements.

  • Report Variances: Report any reasons for variances to standard, including issues preventing or delaying planned job completion, and report actions taken to resolve.

  • Maintain Confidentiality: Exercise confidentiality concerning the affairs of the business, following HIPAA guidelines and procedures, and reporting any HIPAA violations.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
