Job Overview
As a Clinical Liaison with Vets Choice Radiology, you will play a pivotal role in our teleradiology workflow, working closely with referring veterinarians, our team of board-certified radiologists, and technical support staff. This is a unique opportunity to work in the rapidly growing field of telemedicine, utilizing your veterinary expertise and technical skills to ensure seamless case submissions, report delivery, and exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teleradiology Case Management and Client Relations: Monitor case submissions for quality, assist clinics with report concerns, and communicate effectively with our radiology team to ensure that all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
 - Foster and Maintain Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring clinicians, radiologists, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on case status and reports.
 - Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Troubleshoot platform and image issues related to case submission, file transfer, and image quality, working closely with our technical support team to resolve issues promptly.
 - Critical Case Submission Triage: Understand and implement triage procedures for critical case submissions, ensuring that urgent cases receive immediate attention.
 - Radiologist Schedule and Coverage: Assist with coordinating radiologist schedules and coverage, ensuring that all cases are reviewed and reported in a timely manner.
 - Audit and Quality Control: Audit turnaround times and caseloads of reporting radiologists, identifying areas for improvement and implementing quality control measures as needed.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Certified Veterinary Technician: Hold a current certification as a Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, RTR, or equivalent) with a minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience.
 - Radiographic Techniques: Experience with proper radiographic techniques, including exposure to advanced imaging modalities such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
 - Anatomy and Diagnostic Imaging Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of anatomy, diagnostic imaging, and veterinary medical terminology.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree: An associate degree in a related field is preferred.
 - Veterinary Technician Experience: 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician is preferred.
