Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our dynamic sales team. If you are passionate about process technology, have excellent communication skills, strong technical aptitude, and enjoy building strong customer relationships, we want to hear from you! This is a key role within our organization working within a collaborative team-based selling model focused on industrial drying of fiber, agricultural products, chemical, and tobacco products.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth and Profitability: Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals, driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
 - New Business Opportunities: Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned segment, developing strategies to penetrate new markets.
 - Customer Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers, providing technical expertise and acting as a trusted advisor.
 - Technical Communication: Understand and articulate technical information in a concise manner, effectively communicating the value of our solutions.
 - Voice of the Customer: Bring the Voice of the Customer back to the Sales and Business Development Manager, providing valuable insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
 - Product Presentations: Conduct product presentations to showcase the value of our solutions, highlighting their benefits and features.
 - Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical team during customer projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
 - Sales Proposals and Contract Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and contract negotiations, driving revenue growth.
 - Industry Trends and Competitive Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive offerings, providing insights to inform sales strategies.
 - Trade Shows and Sales Meetings: Manage participation in trade shows and sales meetings as necessary, representing our company and products.
 - Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to improve existing offerings and identify opportunity areas for new product development.
 - Forecasting and Reporting: Provide detailed and accurate forecasting of opportunities, generating trip reports and utilizing Sales Force.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or business.
 - Experience: 5+ years of technical-related direct capital equipment sales experience in processing.
 - Skills:
	
- Strong closing skills.
 - Dedicated work ethic.
 - Technical competence.
 - Excellent presentation skills.
 - Sound knowledge of PC use and applications.
 
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Experience:
	
- Previous use of Sales Force.
 - Thermal processing or industrial drying experience.
 - Food processing industry sales experience.
 - Knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing processes.
