We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative to join our team remotely in Indiana. As a critical member of our customer service team, you'll serve as an advocate for healthcare providers, providing timely and effective support to help them navigate complex healthcare issues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advocate for healthcare providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers through multiple channels, including phone calls and concurrent chat.
  • Quickly triage contacts from healthcare professionals, identifying their needs and providing timely solutions to complex issues.
  • Research and resolve complex prior authorization and claim issues, collaborating with internal partners to ensure seamless communication and resolution.
  • Strong multitasking skills to navigate multiple systems, extract necessary information, and resolve issues across various lines of business and provider types.
  • Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, assisting with navigation questions and promoting the benefits of these tools.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer concerns.
  • Proficiency in computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems.
  • Typing speed of 35-40 WPM with 90% accuracy.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday between 10:35am – 7:05pm CST, with flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a related environment, such as an office, call center, or customer service.
  • Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology.

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Reside within the state of Indiana.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of company documents.
  • Dedicated workspace with high-speed internet connection.
