Key Responsibilities

As a Manager – KYC Investigations at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading a team of investigators in a remote work setup across designated states in India. Your primary objectives will be to:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and direct the activities of RCO staff to achieve service level targets and drive process improvements.
  • Provide leadership support to your team, focusing on people development, performance management, and career growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies based on data analysis to balance business needs and customer experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, risk management, and other business units to deliver compliant solutions.
  • Identify trends in team performance and recommend changes to raise performance levels.
  • Implement best-in-class processes and practices to maintain and exceed productivity, quality, and service level agreements.
  • Analyze key business levers to identify trends and proactively act to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Recruit top-quality investigators and develop a succession plan within your team.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • 4+ years of operational and/or retail management experience, with a focus on investigations, compliance, or risk management.
  • 2+ years of team management experience, with a proven track record of leading people and driving performance.
  • Extensive relevant industry experience across operations, risk, fraud investigations, or compliance (4+ years).
  • Exceptional operational, managerial, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence business decisions using data.
  • Proven experience across the domain of Risk/Compliance Management & Fraud, with a track record of driving change and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience using data to influence business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to KYC, AML, and CFT.
  • Certifications in risk management, compliance, or a related field (e.g., FRM, CAMS, CFE).
