Schedule and Work Arrangements

As a part-time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at Blithequark, you can expect:

  • Monday - Friday schedule
  • 34 hours per week
  • Flexible work hours between 8am - 4:30pm CST
  • Fully remote work arrangement

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at Blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
  • Expeditiously and efficiently entering data to meet client turnaround times
  • Navigating through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you may also be required to:

  • Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a strong candidate for this role at Blithequark, you should possess:

Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 6 months or more of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong data entry/typing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of accuracy

Assessment and Evaluation

If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. The assessment requires:

  • 8,200 KSPH (keystrokes per hour)
  • 98% Accuracy Rate
