As a tutor with Littera Education, you'll have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work with students who need your expertise.

Our innovative approach pairs students with the same tutor for 2-3 sessions a week, fostering a supportive and consistent learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality virtual tutoring to K-6 students in English or Math, tailoring your sessions to meet their individual needs and learning styles.
 - Engage students with clear communication and interpersonal skills, creating a supportive and interactive learning environment.
 - Utilize online virtual tools and technology to deliver effective tutoring sessions, adapting to the needs of each student.
 - Choose your own consistent schedule, with the flexibility to work between 7am and 9pm ET, Monday to Friday.
 - Participate in a self-paced curriculum orientation to familiarize yourself with our tutoring model and resources.
 - Work with the same student(s) at the same time week to week, tracking their progress and adjusting your tutoring strategies as needed.
 
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- Relevant experience working with school-age learners in some capacity, such as teaching, tutoring, or mentoring.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
 - A high comfort level with online virtual tools and technology, including the Chrome browser, camera, and quality internet connection.
 - Residency in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii, and a USA-based bank account to receive payments.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application:
- Experience with high-dosage tutoring models or similar educational programs.
 - Familiarity with curriculum design and implementation.
 - Ability to assess student needs and develop targeted tutoring strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
As a part-time virtual tutor with Littera Education, you'll earn:
- A competitive hourly rate of $18 per hour.
 - The opportunity to earn $22 per hour for high school Algebra I tutoring sessions, upon successful completion of an Algebra I assessment.
