About the Role
As an EVV Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our visit data, leveraging your expertise in HHA Exchange (HHAx) and EVV software. This part-time or full-time remote position requires a strong technical skillset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor EVV Dashboard: Actively monitor and manage the EVV system to ensure all visits are logged accurately and timely, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
 - Clear Visit Discrepancies: Identify and correct visit exceptions, including missed, late, or incomplete clock-ins/outs, and communicate with caregivers (PCAs) to rectify any issues.
 - Contact Employees: Reach out to employees (PCAs) to confirm or rectify any missing or incorrect clock-ins/outs, ensuring timely corrections and compliance.
 - Resolve EVV Issues: Communicate with caregivers (PCAs) or supervisors to address any unresolved EVV issues, ensuring timely corrections and minimizing errors.
 - Documentation: Accurately document all manual corrections and follow up with staff regarding EVV discrepancies, maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
 - Escalation Handling: Escalate any ongoing issues with authorizations, visit compliance, or system errors to the appropriate department for resolution, ensuring prompt action and minimizing impact.
 - Training: Provide remote support and training to PCAs or office staff as needed regarding EVV system usage, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
 
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Education: Associate's Degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.
 - Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in homecare or healthcare administration, with knowledge of HHA Exchange (HHAx) a must.
 - Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with EVV software.
 - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain EVV processes to a diverse audience.
 - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and find effective resolutions independently.
 - Detail-Oriented: Ability to focus on accuracy and compliance, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
 - Confidentiality: Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect sensitive consumer and caregiver information.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous remote work experience in a healthcare or home care setting.
 - Knowledge of HHA Exchange is critical.
