About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Executive Administrative Assistant, providing critical day-to-day administrative support to our Senior Vice President & Deputy Chief Information Security Officer, Technology Risk & Information Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining a complex calendar, managing logistics, coordinating travel arrangements, reconciling expenses, and producing accurate presentations and documents. You will also be responsible for managing confidential filing, maintaining regulatory records, and assisting with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain a complex calendar using a high level of tact and integrity, including scheduling meetings and conference calls across different time zones
 - Manage the logistics of key meetings, including room booking, catering, production of meeting materials, etc.
 - Coordinate travel arrangements as needed, including air, hotel, transfers, and visas
 - Reconcile expenses and file expense reports
 - Manage the payroll system for the team, including attendance tracking (holidays, vacation, sick days, etc.)
 - Produce accurate presentations, documents, and general correspondence in a timely manner
 - Provide general follow-up and reminders to effectively meet deadlines and commitments
 - Organize regular team meetings and 1:1s with Direct Reports
 - Maintain inventory of office supplies, including placing orders
 - Manage confidential filing and keep regulatory records in good order
 - Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed
 - Onboard new employees as needed
 
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including:
- 3+ years of experience in an executive assistant or office manager capacity
 - Ability to organize and work on own initiative
 - Ability to work independently or with minimal direction
 - Experience in handling a wide range of administrative-related tasks, organizing large meetings, and arranging travel
 - Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes
 - Ability to act diplomatically and respectfully when communicating with individuals of varying levels
 - Expert-level written and verbal communication skills
 - Understanding and appreciation of key customer relationships (internal and external)
 - Accuracy and attention to detail
 - Commitment to ongoing learning and development
 - Flexible, proactive, well-organized, resourceful, and efficient
 - Handling of confidential and sensitive issues in an appropriate manner
 - Ability to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
 - A proactive approach with strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability
 - Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
 - Familiarity with Amex organization and Amex-specific systems (procurement, payroll, HR, etc.) is a plus
 - Project management skills are a plus

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $24.05 to $48.10 hourly, plus bonus and benefits. Our benefits package includes:
