Job Overview
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for experienced customer service professionals to join our team as Remote Customer Service Representatives. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and hospitality to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded. This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, with a competitive salary of $27 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer friendly and comfortable support to all internal and external customers, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
 - Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the success of our organization, demonstrating a helpful spirit and a commitment to excellence.
 - Provide amazing customer service to individuals seeking to travel, use freight or baggage services, handling their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
 - Manage all aspects of ticketing and check-in, working with automated systems, boarding, baggage services, reservations, and resolving related complaints and issues.
 - Greet and assist customers in a respectful and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets.
 - Process transactions, make change, and balance daily exchanges, taking responsibility for any overage or shortage.
 - Check in baggage and freight, answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page customers, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed.
 - Manage transactions required to board the aircraft in an efficient and timely manner.
 - Handle upset customers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, resolving issues quickly and within established guidelines.
 - Provide current and accurate information on fares, schedules, reservations, flight arrival/departure times, and answer general questions from customers and other airport visitors.
 - Complete forms and reports as required by the organization, including abnormality and complaint reports as needed.
 
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
 - Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job.
 - Ability to understand documents, follow instructions, learn and understand ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations.
 - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful conditions.
 - Ability to complete customer service specialist training program with an 80% or greater average and a probationary period.
 - Awareness of hazardous situations and ability to handle emergencies as needed.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
 - Knowledge of airline operations, ticketing procedures, and travel regulations.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and achieving quick turns of aircraft.
 - Ability to maintain a well-prepared appearance, adhering to the Ground Operations Agent Handbook and Work Agreement.
 - Ability to perform all job functions within a limited space, conveying information and instructions verbally, by phone, or via radio equipment.
