Job Overview
As a GHRN Virtual Loss Adjuster, you will play a critical role in our claims handling process, focusing on determining the reparability or total loss of vehicles. Operating from the comfort of your home office, you will spend the majority of your time adjusting auto damage claims remotely. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing moderate to complex vehicle damages, preparing estimates and valuations, assessing vehicle conditions, determining salvage valuations, and engaging in negotiation and settlement processes with our valued customers and/or claimants. This position requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Virtual Inspections: Inspect damage to vehicles remotely, which may include automobiles, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and recreational vehicles.
 - Estimate Repairs: Write damage repair estimates and complete total loss valuations with precision and accuracy.
 - Negotiate Settlements: Negotiate moderately complex and occasionally complex settlements with repair facilities, tow yards, customers, and estimate repair times for rental/loss of use.
 - Customer Service: Provide a superior level of customer service and attention to customers, explaining coverage, estimates, claims, settlement, and rental processes clearly and compassionately.
 - Work Independently: Prioritize your responsibilities, manage your workload, and work independently with minimal supervision.
 
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 12 months or more of Auto Collision estimating experience in CCC One, Audatex, or Mitchell.
 - Previous experience in total loss adjustment or a related field is highly desirable.
 - Proficiency in using estimating software and valuation tools for virtual assessments.
 - Strong analytical skills to evaluate moderate to complex vehicle damages effectively.
 - Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely.
 - Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment.
 - Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Active licenses such as Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.
 - Experience working in a remote or virtual environment with proven ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
 - Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in auto damage repair and total loss adjustment.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
