As a Senior Engineer for CRM Customer Acquisitions, you will play a pivotal role in driving this transformation by developing high-performance, low-latency platforms and applications that provide a seamless experience for our customers. You will be an integral part of a collaborative environment where you will work closely with various teams, including Salesforce CRM, Infrastructure, Architecture, Release Management, Application Security, and Business Product Owners, to design and deliver critical solutions.

About the Role

As a Senior Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for scoping, designing, and building scalable, resilient distributed systems that meet the highest standards of protection and availability. You will leverage your technical expertise to drive product definition and solution development, engaging in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle, including testing. Your leadership skills will be essential in design sessions and code reviews with peers, elevating the quality of engineering across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems that cater to the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Drive product definition and solution development by leveraging your technical skills and expertise.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle, including testing, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Lead design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization.
  • Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns from both business and technology perspectives.
  • Utilize developer tooling and a variety of Azure tools and services across the software development lifecycle to perform advanced-level Java application design, implementation, and maintenance activities under minimal direction.
  • Mentor other engineers, sharing best practices and improving processes within and across teams.
  • Consistently share knowledge and expertise to improve the overall engineering capabilities of the organization.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Advanced programming experience with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#, including object-oriented design.
  • A strong understanding of web service integration (REST/SOAP) and enterprise middleware integration tiers (Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot).
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Flutter and React experience is preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead projects and interact with clients and sponsors regularly.
  • Experience in building the architecture and design of new and current systems, with a focus on reliability and scaling.
  • An advanced understanding of DevOps concepts and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
  • A strong problem-solving ability, with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with Salesforce standard objects/records, custom object creation, validation rules, and relationships.
  • Knowledge of building and configuring flows, and process builders.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Aura/LWC components.
  • Experience with Salesforce CDP.

Our compensation package is competitive, with a salary range of $66,000 to $185,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
