About the Role: Trip Assignment Specialist

The Trip Assignment Specialist plays a vital role in our operations, primarily responsible for assigning trips to dispatchers and Care Partners on a nightly basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, has a keen eye for detail, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Trip Assignment Specialist, you will be the backbone of our evening operations, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign trips to dispatchers in our Health-E Rides system, managing approximately 700-900 trips per night with precision and accuracy.
  • Build dispatchers' daily schedules, taking into account breaks and lunches to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stack trips to contracted Care Partners, optimizing our resources and ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Answer inbound calls from members during evening hours, providing exceptional customer service and resolving queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate evening trips as they come in, ensuring that our clients receive prompt and reliable service.
  • Assist with Care Partner related administrative tasks, such as payment processing, to ensure that our partners are supported and empowered to deliver exceptional service.
  • Assist with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk, providing timely and effective solutions to our clients' queries and concerns.

Requirements for Success:

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred, although not essential, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills to succeed in this role.
  • Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts, including Monday (night) to Friday (night) from 11:30 pm to 8 am PT, with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service even in challenging situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a remote or home-based environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our clients, dispatchers, and Care Partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box to resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in our Health-E Rides system, or similar software, with a strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
