Key Responsibilities
- Apply statistical modeling and data analysis skills to a wide range of business problems, including pricing and underwriting risk, claims automation, sales forecasting, and data mining applications.
 - Develop and implement predictive models using various data science tools and techniques, such as Python, SAS, and R.
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
 - Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 - Participate in mentoring and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
 
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be currently enrolled in Georgia Tech's Online Master of Science in Analytics (OMSA) program.
 - Have experience in statistical modeling and/or data mining.
 - Be proficient in data analysis and database tools.
 - Have programming skills in languages such as Python, SAS, or R.
 - Be able to effectively communicate and present technical work.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experiences will be considered a plus:
- Previous experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
 - Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques.
 - Knowledge of data mining applications and predictive modeling.
 - Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
