We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Remote Subsidy Tuition Field Coordinator I to join our team, supporting our centers and child care assistance programs in Kentucky, Indiana, Delaware, or Maryland.

About the Role

This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families. As a Subsidy Tuition Field Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as company policies and procedures. You'll provide exceptional customer service to field operations and government agencies, while driving success in our centers and child care programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align with company and subsidy tuition strategy, goals, and objectives, adapting to change and driving success in assigned centers.
  • Acquire agency contracts, reviewing requirements and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Process and maintain authorizations, partnering with centers and agencies to secure reimbursements and resolve any issues.
  • Complete accounts receivable transfers and discounts, compiling weekly details and updates for field operations.
  • Review attendance documents, completing the billing process in accordance with agency guidelines and company policies.
  • Reconcile payments to accounts receivable, addressing re-bill and/or refund opportunities, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, monitoring for unusual items and resolving or raising issues as needed.
  • Audit and reconcile center financial records, completing adjustments and ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain and store subsidy records in accordance with agency guidelines and company policies.
  • Form effective relationships with internal and external partners, including field operations and child care agencies.
  • Participate in huddle calls and center director meetings, maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Prepare audit documentation and report notifications of agency audits, demonstrating full ownership for assigned centers.
  • Perform all functions in a timely and accurate manner, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred bookkeeping, billing, and accounts receivable experience.
  • Proficiency in 10-key and strong digital literacy, covering financial systems and general office software, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.
  • Excellent customer service, professionalism, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work overtime hours as needed.
  • Ability to withstand long periods of sitting and frequent use of computer and telephone.
  • Occasional overnight travel and travel between alternate center and office locations may be required.
