Job Overview: Inventory Controller | Full Time | Overnight Shift
- Compensation: Competitive salary starting at $18.00 per hour, with potential shift, skill, and team lead pay differentials
 - Location: Remote, but this is an essential onsite position
 - Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 6:00 pm - 4:30 am (overnight shift)

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team at DigiKey Electronics. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting perpetual inventory counts, and resolving inventory discrepancies. You will be the liaison between various departments, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving order fulfillment exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inventory counts and update computer systems to reflect accurate quantities on hand
 - Utilize inventory control reports to maintain inventory records and make necessary changes to the computer system
 - Act as a liaison between Picking, Broken Reserve & Quality to support order fulfillment and resolve inventory discrepancies
 - Investigate customer complaints regarding shipment errors and update inventory stock levels as needed
 - Search for misplaced products and update inventory counts to reflect findings
 - Pick parts accurately and efficiently to fulfill order requests and supplier returns
 - Process parts from other facilities as needed for orders or returns
 - Prepackage products for orders or returns in a consistent and secure manner
 - Perform verification of parts and counts of picked parts
 - Package and/or palletize returns for shipment
 - Process promo/internal shipments for corporate partners
 - Analyze physical inventory records/reports and confer with team members to resolve reported inventory count discrepancies
 - Identify and resolve issues of mixed products in storage locations
 - Conduct and complete inventory-related projects as assigned
 
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
 - Basic computer navigation and typing skills
 - Basic math skills
 - Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
 - Experience with WM software such as Manhattan and KiSoft (preferred)
 - Previous cycle count experience or Exceptions experience (highly preferred)
 - Ability to provide a positive, professional, and enthusiastic outlook
 - Demonstrated ability to multi-task and change focus quickly based on requests
 - Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success
 - Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
