About the Role
We're seeking an experienced IVR Developer with a strong background in Amazon Connect development and fluency in Spanish. As an IVR Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering solutions on IVR solutions, creating unit tests, and supporting existing architecture and code. You'll work closely with our Agile team to understand scope and design efficient solutions, ensuring all code developed follows DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, and delivery of solutions on IVR solutions
 - Develop efficient and high-performance call flows using Amazon Connect
 - Create unit tests to maximize code coverage and cover end-to-end business scenarios
 - Support existing architecture and code, ensuring seamless integration with other systems
 - Document call flows and design as needed, maintaining accurate records
 - Collaborate with other teams to understand scope and design efficient solutions
 - Foster a team approach to software development and delivery within the Agile framework
 - Ensure all code developed follows DevOps practices, promoting consistency and reliability
 
Performance Expectations
As an experienced IVR Developer, you'll be expected to:
- Analyze, design, implement, and test customized software applications for contact centers
 - Develop contact flows (both call and chat) in AWS Connect, leveraging your expertise
 - Demonstrate strong knowledge of software development and design, with a focus on business-critical applications
 - Work effectively with multiple teams, ensuring consistent release management and good change management practices
 
What to Expect on Your First Day
On your first day, you'll undergo a comprehensive onboarding process, ensuring you have access to all necessary systems and tools. You'll meet with the team, align calendars and schedules, and get started on your new role.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IVR development, with a focus on Amazon Connect
 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
 - Fluency in Spanish, with excellent communication skills
 - Experience with AWS services, including DynamoDB, Lex, and Lambda
 - Strong knowledge of software development and design, with a focus on business-critical applications
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and SRE best practices, as well as iterative Agile-flavored workflows
 - AWS certifications, demonstrating your expertise in cloud computing
 - Experience with self-service call flows and complex systems/database integrations
 - Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze core application logs
