Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Math Instructor/Tutor to join our team in Creve Coeur, MO. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
• Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value, and communicating effectively with them about their child's progress.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies in math education.
• Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices, which include individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing targeted strategies for improvement.
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students achieve their full potential.
• Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, ensuring that the center is well-organized, safe, and conducive to learning.
• Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the center and the success of the team.

Essential Qualifications

• A passion for math and working with students, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives and help them achieve their academic goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and build strong relationships with them.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, with a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles, and the ability to explain them clearly and concisely.

• Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in math education.
