About the Role: Online Visiting Professor for Business Intelligence and Analytics Management

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Online Visiting Professor to teach Business Intelligence and Analytics Management courses in our online programs. As a Visiting Professor with DeVry University, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and share your expertise with students across the country. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide students with an approved DeVry University syllabus that follows a template established by the local campus, and which includes the terminal course objectives.
• Organize, prepare, and regularly revise and update all course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Utilize appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software, including Websites, e-mail, and online discussions for preparing the course and making it accessible to students.
• Model effective oral and written communications that engage students, provide clarity, and improve student learning outcomes.
• Set clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives, assignment/examinations dates, and weight the distribution of various evaluation categories.
• Ensure that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives.
• Demonstrate consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams and provide timely feedback to students.
• Complete other duties as assigned to support the academic mission of DeVry University.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Master's degree is required; a Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) is preferred.
• 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate teaching.
• Analytics and/or coding certifications are preferred.
• Qualifying credentials must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Administration, or by an international institution determined to hold equivalent accreditation.
• Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply.
