Job Summary

The Manager, Clinical Advocacy, Global Health And Wellbeing is a key member of our Global Health And Wellbeing team, responsible for providing strategic and operational support to ensure clinical and regulatory compliance of key programs and initiatives. This role will lead daily operations of RN professionals and Occupational Health direct reports, develop processes and metrics to track and monitor performance, and communicate with external agencies to promote health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of RN professionals and Occupational Health direct reports to assure they are achieving desired outcomes and practicing within their scope of work.
  • Develop processes and metrics to track and monitor performance of team.
  • Delegate tasks within the scope of direct reports to assure they meet their role responsibilities and are supporting operational needs.
  • Lead ongoing continuous improvement of team focus; identify opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency of daily work and projects supported by direct reports.
  • Lead decision making to find the best solution to address challenges within their team to assure strategies align with organizational goals and values.
  • Serve as subject matter expert who provides advice and collaborates with key stakeholders to support cross-divisional projects, programs, and initiatives to improve health safety and compliance standards.
  • Liaise with external agencies including OSHA, CDC, both domestic and international health departments to promote health and safety for our employees and passengers.

What You Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • RN License.
  • 2 or more years of leadership and management experience.
  • Experience in working with Lean Management Systems.
  • Broad clinical or nursing knowledge in the clinical or employee health setting.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, project management and communication skills demonstrating sound and independent judgement.
  • Strong departmental and cross-divisional collaboration skills.
  • Strong team player, detail oriented and able to perform under pressure.
  • Essential time management skills to execute tasks within a set time frame or deadline.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to thoughtfully engage and develop team members.
  • Flexibility with handling changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and electronic medical records.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge

The following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • Experience in airline industry is a plus.
  • Current certification from the American Board for Occupational Health Nurses (ABOHN).
  • Current certification from American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN).
  • Experience with managing telehealth or customer care telephonic services.
