We are now seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant to join our team, working within the Eastern Time zone, to support our growing business and help us deliver exceptional service to our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Virtual Assistant who is familiar with ConvertKit, Squarespace, Google Drive, and customer support. As an independent contractor, you will be working closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our business, handling tasks such as email management, content editing, video uploading, and community management. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in helping us maintain our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering emails within 24 hours, excluding weekends, using provided training and templates
  • Editing written content, including grammatical and editing checks, and copying and pasting SEO for blog posts as needed
  • Downloading and uploading videos from Zoom or Loom to Google Drive, Vimeo, or other specified locations
  • Community management, ensuring timely responses to posts and providing customer support as needed
  • Communicating with our team member, DeShaun, regarding financial and billing-related questions
  • Other tasks as agreed upon, with the opportunity to suggest or request additional work to meet hourly targets

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience working as a Virtual Assistant, preferably in a similar industry or with similar software
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to respond to emails and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Familiarity with ConvertKit, Squarespace, Google Drive, Zoom, Loom, Vimeo, and Gmail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A reliable internet connection and the ability to work from your own dedicated workspace

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills would be highly desirable:

  • Certifications or degrees in a related field, such as business administration, marketing, or communications
  • Experience with SEO and content marketing
  • Familiarity with American millennial slang and the ability to adapt to our tone and style
  • Basic knowledge of video editing and uploading, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems

Compensation and Benefits

This is an independent contractor position, paid at $20/hour, with no additional benefits or taxes withheld. You will be issued a 1099 at the end of the year, and payments will be made close of business on Fridays, via Venmo, PayPal, or invoicing software of your choice. With the opportunity to increase your hours over time, this role offers a competitive and flexible compensation package, with the potential to earn up to $200 per month, with the possibility of increasing hours in the future.
